Product Description

Proportional Control Valves are controlled by electronic Amplifier control boards, and are commonly called electro-hydraulics. These Proportional Valves provided electrical feedback control of direction, the amount of fluid flow and / or the amount of pressure within a system.

Electro-hydraulic controls are especially useful in situations where system speed must be tightly controlled, or where ramping up and down is needed to avoid sudden starts or stops. Electro-hydraulics also provides precise control in applications where hydraulic pressure must be built up steadily.

Continental Hydraulics Proportional products can help increase production and reduce down time by minimizing the shocks that occur from sudden changes as compared to standard components.
In conjunction with precision valves, Continental Hydraulics provides Electronic Control Amplifier Cards. These Amplifiers come in a variety of mounting styles, signal conditioning, PWM and Dither, Acceleration and deceleration limiting and current sensing circuitry to work with and accurately control proportional products whether in open or closed loop systems.
